"Mr Natta's puffing on promotions "....heh heh! I do appreciate a well turned phrase General O'Connor! Yes your list is longer, but I have to wonder just how many deceased squirrels it takes to earn these ranks?? Is it still customary to carve little dead squirrels with X-ed out eyes on your musket stocks for each kill? Well, nevermind I say dear lads. Congrats to all recipients of the Colonial Squirrel Skinner Awards B. We may be accurate squirrel killers (when we're not taking pot shots at officers) but at least we are all volunteers. How is you British do your recruiting again?? Ahh yes.. "By lies they lured them, by liquor they tempted them , and when they were dead drunk they forced a sholling into their fists." Never mind the Hessians sold to a foreign King - seven pounds sterling a man (to your princes and electors), seven more when we shoot 'em. Of course three wounded is as good as one dead! That aside, nice work all especially the Eastern Dept. led by Lt. Col Powers. Three cheers and a double ration of rum! Lt. I wondered what I was doing losing so badly at Bladensburg - helping Al with his majority. Thanks guys for all the recognition, but the real Eastern Department credit goes to the troops in the trenches fighting the black hawks and red coats...keep up the good work men. I wish the real world would let me contribute more, but we have to make a livin' Brg.General, "Texas Division", Army of Georgia.... Major,Eastern Department,Continental Army.... Capt., Army du Nord.... (Renegade Mercenary Partisan Armored Tank Commander in various other clubs) |
