... has been going down on both armies, after I was finally able to update the award center pages. The following Gentlemen have received decorations. For the Colonial side: Col. Gary Cope: 1776 Campaign Lt. Col. Rich Hamilton: 1776 Campaign, Special Battlefield Medal Major Al Amos: Greensprings Farm, New Orleans, Burlington Heights, Bladensburg Major Bill Peters: Brandywine Capt. Mike Cox: 1776 Campaign, New Orleans Ens. Ed Anson: 1776 Campaign, Germantown Ens. Tim Maines: Bunker Hill Ens. Brett Schulte: Monmouth Ens. Bob Hughes: First Saratoga Ens. William Glankler: First Saratoga Sgt. Rick Martin: Bladensburg Sgt. Gene Nix: Burlington Heights Sgt. Norm Lathrop (ret.): 1776 Campaign Cpl. Bud Windham: Brandywine For the British side: Brig. Gen. Sean Coffey: Long Island Col. Ernie Sands: 1776 Campaign, Fort Ticonderoga Major Stefan Reuter: 1776 Campaign, Monmouth Major Scott Reed: Special Battlefield Medal Capt. D.S. Walter: Bunker Hill, Burlington Heights Lt. Lawrence Bouton: Brandywine Lt. Kenny O'Leary: Monmouth Lt. Sam Orlando: Brandywine Ens. Richard White: Bunker Hill Sgt. Sam Moon: Sackett's Harbour Reg. Ralf Konnertz: Bunker Hill Paul Sidhu (ret.): 1776 Campaign As you can see, the gentlemen of the Colonial side are catching up ... the totals for all medals on both sides now show a perfect tie with 81 medals each. Yet strange enough it seems that the British are winning in the Revolution while the Colonials have the lead in the War of 1812. For those interested in the details, there is a statistics page at the award center. Also this is the first time we have awarded Campaign Medals. Again strange enough, while the British side has the lead in battlefield medals for 1776, the Colonials have gained more Campaign Medals for this war. Congratulations to all recipients! Capt. Walter 4th Regiment "King's Own" AdC, Royal North American Corps of 1812 |
