Post subject: | New Game Idea |
Ok - we have a game that portrays the dramatic Independence of the colonies from the draconian Mother state (1776). We also now have a game that portrays our first struggle with said Mother state after we became a nation (1812). How about a game that portrays a Second Rebellion? Here is my idea: 1. The colonies smother under the tyranny of England. Many of the rebels are hounded into the swamps and left there to die or hack out a meager living. 2. There exists a burning desire to once again take up arms. Where will the money come from? 3. NAPOLEON!!!! 4. So look for a wild and whacky game on the Second Revolution which will portray the Colonists fighting alongside the Old Guard, Jackson fighting alongside the Gd. Chasseurs, Benedict Arnold being hung from Boston Common by the Colonists (or was he dead by then!) and Murat beheading Bloody Ban at last! 5. I am going to mix the uniforms of the 1812 game with some artwork from Eckmuhl and we can have some real fights! 6. Imagine Eugene fighting an independent action in South Carolina against Wellington! Oh my!!! 7. No war in Europe - it all comes to our shores! 8. Large scenarios (like Amos likes) and plenty of daring do! 9. Intermission will feature popcorn! 10. Look for this game from me in 2005!!! Capt.
