What do when I am registering a campaign battle is go to the editor, guess the decision taken by my opponent, find out the scenario name and number this way. As one of our officers now complained (and I agree), this spoils the fun of playing the campaign blind. So what does everyone else do? Is there a solution? Maybe register the game only after completion? BTW, is there a reason why the game does not simply announce the scenario played somewhere? <font color=gold>Maj. Sometimes you know the scenario from the campaign dialogs at the start, Like attack on Fort Stanwix, etc. I think the best method (IMO), if you can't determine the scenario, is to wait until AFTER the first turn and then the BTC file doesn't reveal anything that you wouldn't already know. Just to clarify a bit, open the *.btc file with word pad, and the scenario title is in full view, although the scenario version (a,b,c,etc.) was not readily apparent. You can always wait until contact is made or reinforcements arrive so that the variant is clear before registering. With the great job that Garry is doing, the number arrives usually within 24 hours. I have always wondered how to tell the first scenario in a campaign game too. Now I know how some of ya'll appear to be so much smarter than me <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> As far as registering the game goes ... I have no real problem with leaving the first battle blank. I fill in the info at the end in those cases.
