Gentlemen, I have the honor to announce that, on recommendation of the Club Cabinet, the British Commander-in-Chief, Maj. Gen. Sean Coffey, has bestowed upon the CCC president, Col. Ernie Sands, in recognition of the enormous services he has rendered the club and the British army, the highest decoration the British army can award, the Most Honorable Order of the Bath. Since the fact that the Order of the Bath confers knighthood seems to have been generally accepted after the last awarding, I hereby declare Col. Sands Sir Ernie Sands KCB - Salute - Maj.
