I had cornered a group of American traitors on Kings Mountain. There, they and their leader, Ollie Kreuels had taken refuge hoping to spread confusion and suffering among the good people of Carolina. Determined to put an end to the mischief immediately I rounded up a substantial group of freedom loving militamen and set upon the traitors. The battle was fierce yet inconclusive. Ending in a draw. As it was my first taste of combat I learned a great deal. Among the new revelations was that men without bayonets tend to melee very poorly.
