Please join me in welcoming two more recruits for April. Karel Van Gangemen and David Stotsenburgh, both for the British line. With these last, April turned into a good month for recruits. We had seven apply to join the club. Check out the Training page to see the list of April's recruits as well as the roster of recruits who were assigned to an army this month. You may see some familiar names from other clubs. They would all appreciate a challenge or two, I'm sure. (Now may be your best chance to exact a little revenge if you ascribe to that philosophy.) It's true I've joined the Colonials. It's never bad to fight for your rights. Damme for a fool! That's the second major gaff, (or is it three now with the misspelling AND the army in one note?) My most humble apologies to all especially to Karel. Just as the battlefield is a most confusing place governed by the fog of war, it seems that same fog has begun to penetrate this wooden noggin of mine with a similar result. I would attribute it to rum, but I only drink coffee... without the benefit of any additives from Ireland. Methinks it must be the gunpowder.
