Sirs, it is with a sad heart that I must announce a truely awfull beating at Ft. Ticondaroga, in the Saratoga campaign. LT COL Walter all but destroyed my forces. I now know it would have been better to retreat than defend, but alas I had to try and change history somewhat. My hat is off to LT COL Walter for a fine fight. Never fear though, my boys will clean thier wounds and be back to drive that Fat wannabee King's henchmen from these shores. As always, Pvt. Malone, it has been a true honor and a pleasure to meet you in the field. Alas, you have been overcome by overwhelming force this time ... take heart, you are a tough fighter and will certainly do much better when you are not facing such long odds.
