At the risk of triggering another brawl, I am pleased to announce the following promotions: (the officer clears his throat, raises an eybrow and nervously scans the room for the Scottish contingent. Thankfully, they are only sipping spuce beer.) Dwight Conlan, 5th Regiment, 3rd Brigade (Eastern), to Major Jerry Nelson, 2nd Regiment, 2nd Brigade (Eatern), to Lieutenant Frank DiNola, Johnson's Kentucky Cavalry to Ensign Gary McClellan to Lieutenant Tony Malone, Malone's Celtic Light Infantry, to Sergeant Good work all, especially Tony, Dwight, and Gary who have been particularly busy. *sniff* I remember when Private McClellan was approached to help out with the Northen Department. Now look at him. And it was only a few months ago that Tony raised his regiment of Celts to strike out against the Redcoats. I think I need a beer. Now in all seriousness, I hope everyone is having a good Memorial Day weekend. (Even the euros.) Here's to those who have fallen. Lt. Colonel Mike Cox New Jersey Militia (1st Hunterdon Cty) AdC American Army Training Staff All Around Nice Guy |

Well, thank you Gentlemen. I wish it had been due to some victories, but alas it was not to be, YET! While my men have had some beatings, they are still a force to be reckond with. I would like to thank all who have played me so far, the lessons learned are burnt in the mind now, and a thanks to my fellow Americans, this land will be free with all our efforts. Usurpers, You may distribute monikers as you like to your fellow traitors, but the fact remains that you are still the King's subjects. If any of you have remaining faculties, please inquire about a command in the King's army. Our unit the "Royal American Reformees" awaits any American who will renounce the rebellion and swear loyalty to the King. Rawdons Volunteers of Ireland-British Army 1776/1812 Club Loyal Irish Volunteers AoC ACWGC 2/42nd Highlanders-Anglo/Allied Army NWC |

Mr Scott, My men once swore loyalty to the true King over the water, but since we were driven from our homes by the usuper's forces, we have now made this our home and it will be free. Do your self a favor and join the true side of freedom and renounce your misguided loyalty to that fat wanabe king. God Bless America. Hmm, several points need addressing here. (Mr. Amos put down your empty bottle, I come in relative peace) Firstly, as a fellow gentleman officer, let me extend a heartfelt lukewarm congratulations to the Colonial officers who've recently received their baubles in recognition of their many defeats at the hands of His Majesty's forces. Odd that you Yanks reward defeats, but such is life in these colonies. It does appear to me though that Lt. McClellans's award looks to be a scrap of lass's ribbon attached to a rather rusted and dented kitchen spoon eh? Secondly, just what is keeping the Royal Navy from bringing notice of British promotions to the tavern bulletin board?!? Me thinks our leadership is melting down our own awards to make worthless Yankee coinage! Or perhaps they have just grown too fat and sleepy to tend to such mundane matters. Thirdly Master Malone, have you conveniently forgotten the arrangement we were working on to meet on the field of battle? I do believe I still have a copy of your haughty chastizement of me from several fortnights ago. Come, let us finally take care of this unfinished business sir.
Brigadier General Sir Phil Natta Esq. General Natta, I have not forgotten our earlier corraspondance. As I said before as soon as I had a couple of engagements resolved and now I do since three have been decided. My forces are ready and willing to march. I have several destinations in mind. Camden, Yorktown, and Saratoga. Please let me know if you are willing to meet at one of these. God Bless America, may she be forever Free!!!
