As some of you may know, my pathetic goal is to work with some of the battles of the era of the Spanish Succession. My next "goal" in this is the Battle of Elixheim in 1705. This is a "smallish" battle, about the same size as Brandywine (which in European terms is tiny). I have a couple of questions that anyone can chime in on.

1). Have any of you worked with OOB's from the nafziger collection? If so, are they worth it? If not, what would be a better place to look?

2). What's a good source to find a base map to work off of? (Of course, when I get to that point, I'll need some advice on how to make the silly thing to boot)

I know these are elementary questions, but I'm trying to get my feet wet, and have to start somewhere.

nafziger yes! A good source of info. Of course double check his items with 2 or 3 other sources.

Inter Library Loan. I have been able to get some very nice maps.
