Using 1776, it appears that the new Single Phase Turn play havoc with the AI. Has anyone else encountered this situation? Does 1812 allow for phased turns with manual defensive fire or is the AI better tuned to the Single Phase Turn? Oxybeles For the Love of it All! |

In the patch for 1812, John revamped the A.I. a bit so it is more aggressive. In the original 1812 the A.I. had a 'problem' of passivity. I'm not sure it realize there was a war going on

Ox, Here is John Tiller's response to my inquiries if the '76 upgrade included the A.I. fix in '12 1.01: "Yes, it should have the 1.01 fix. Can anyone provide more information on the issue?" And to the question if there is a difference between single turn and MDF play: "Oh, and the question about AI in 1812 is that in 1.01 it should work as well in either single-phase or MDF." I recommend for you to send John a file where you see the A.I. 'havoc'. He is more than willing and happy to check it out for you.
