..trailing maps, ob's and other papers in his wake. His stockings were in tatters and was clearly unshaven. "Cripes I need a beer, nay a rum, no make that a dry sack. Better make that two, and one for anyone still listening to my story [*gulp* ahhhhhh...]: There I was, 20 leagues out of Philly when I was set on by Bart and a pack of poodles. We deployed to X order and started targeting the bulldogs, thinking that would faze them - it didn't. It was good luck that I had a 1/4 pound of catnip, (Bart's 'secret' vice - don't you know) and spread that in my wake. We lost the dogs, but the HQ was shattered. Being militia, I had to check in on the farm, so headed there. Worked like dervish to get the harvest in and relocate the HQ, but I seem to have lost my address book, old correspondence, and some other files. Considering what happened to Amos (and Coffey), I feel lucky. I have however, been remiss: I am pleased to announce we have, in fact, found a new commander for the Eastern Department: [ a diminuative lad, steps from behind the character and thwacks a tinny sounding drum for all he is worth - maybe 1s 2p.] Lt. Tony Malone, Malone's Celtic Light Infantry. A drink to his health! And one for Old Prince Charles and the rest of the Stuarts! As important will be his Aide du Camp (and we all know that the AdC's get all the lasses): Pvt. Cecil Burke, late of the SC Militia, currently commanding Pulaski's Legion. We expect much from the new department. In the near future, a new website. Cecil also has some good ideas concerning the organization of the army. Watch this space for what will hopefully be some interesting changes for the Colonial Army. So thanks to you gentlemen. I am off to the tailor. Drinks are on me! (Actually, my second cousin was engaged to Hargreaves' banker's brother, so he'll be paying. Do drink up.) Also all the haggis you can stomach! (looks like we'll need more scotch.) Until next time.... |

I get the best snuff that taxes can buy, likewise Bartholemew gets the best catnip that taxes can buy. He has to copy everything I do. Mr. Malone and Mr. Burke will do very well. They're fine, though misaligned young officers. [:)] Congrats from the 1st Foot Guard Dog.
![]() |

Thank you to both LT. COL. Cox and GEN. Natta. Cecil and my self are working on ideas as we drink [;)] We are both glad to get a chance to ship those red coated fellows back to the old country [8D] I do Salute General Natta, who seems to have my number lately, he is a tough adversary and a fine gentelman. I still have my doubts on that wig though [:D] As for Bart, well I just hope while he is in here he knows to use the papers in the corner, I think I ;aid down a London times, not much to read in it any way.
