Post subject:  Saratoga Campaign Challenge

Would anyone be interested in participating in a Saratoga Campaign Challenge. Here are the basics:
1. Three opponents are needed. One for each British column and one for each American force.
2. Battles occur as the days of the months tick off.
3. Formations are given marching orders. Attrition (and farming) deplete the ranks.
4. Battles that are fought are not revealed to the other commanders on the team. So if Burgoyne loses at Saratoga it will be up to the game master (me) when the other commanders find out (if at all until the campaign ends). If a link up occurs then the commanders can join forces for a MP game (or two).

Interested parties sign up here. Six steady officers needed. Campaign maps and so on will be made up in early 2003.

Can Johnny Burgoyne meet up with the other columns? Join in the fun and find out.

I would like to join in, but I have to slow down taking on new games for a short while. It sounds like a good time.

Wow! Good response guys. I think for sanity's sake we will go with 2 playes per side.

We need one Brit player and we can get going. Just one more Brit that can stick with a campaign that might have 3 battles max per player. Step right up! You must be able to communicate with all members and also not be in a job that requires alot of travel (unless you have a laptop with game and modem available).

Ok - the sides are set:
British: Larry Davis and Gordon Boggon
vs.
American: Tom Gremmels and William Glankler

I need for all participants to send me their most current email addresses. I will then have more details for you at that time.
