I have been promoted to Colonel and as I probably will not take command in the club again it means I have reached the pinnacle of my career in the club. Thanks to David and Mike for keeping the points prior to my promotion and to Phil and Brett for letting me know of my promotion! Here's to being a dead beat club member! Rounds are on me. I will even buy a drink for the little poodle. |

Congrats Bill. Mind if I charge a mint julip to your tab? I rather fancy a plantation that I previously had burned down in the Carolina's, and want to adjust to the local customs beforehand. Bartholemew will just have a bowl of water with an ever so slight squeeze of lime, and I'll tie him to my chair this time so that he doesn't deposit it back into your shoes again. [:p] |

Congratulations on ye, laddie. Ancient ties of alliance call oot from Scotland to France and ring the welkins of your deeds. Mind ye, if ye couldnae be born a Scot, at least ye can accept a wee dram from a Scotsman. Now then, is it true that they're goin' ta change the spelling to "Frants" so it rhymes better with "pants"? |

Sorry but non-alcoholic drinks are all that my ADC will allow me to offer. Thanks for the congrats nontheless! Perhaps if I pick up some niche I can make Brigadier General later on. Something to aim for perhaps. |
