| Post subject: | Question about Uninstalling 1776 |
Gentlemen, Recently I had to install Campaign 1776. Unfortunately, it did not completely install and froze when my screensaver popped up. Now when I go to ad-remove programs, it says the game has been uninstalled but in actuality nothing happens. How do I uninstall this version and start again? I've seen some comments in the past about editing my registry, but I'm not sure if that's the solution. Any help would be appreciated. |

As you started the process, I would just re-install the game, after I deleted the OLD folders. Check to see if it works; if so, add the update and you should be fine. Otherwise, you could use a 3rd party Uninstaller, if you have one. |

Look at the end of the help file for 1776. There is a section about deleting references to 1776 in your registry. That should also be of help. |
