I was playing around with the campaign engine, using expected values, just to see all the options. As I made my way through the 1855: Frederic and Edward campaign, I noticed something odd. I chose the British.The French had won all minor victories up to and including the last battle. After the French won the final battle. I, the British player, received this campaign end message: "New France has a new hero to worship. You have successfully defended her soil and her honor." Is this a mistake? Just wondering ... |

Because the campaign ended in a French victory, the French Victory dialog pops up for both players. This happens the same way in the stand alone tactical battles. If you are a British player and lose a game you will see a French Victory pic. Basically, there are no "you lost" messages just "the other guy won" messages ... hehehe... |
