Natty Phil and myself are looking for a couple of opponents
for a multi-player game. Either 1776, 1812 or F&I is fine.
A decent turnaround is preferred - a sense of humor required [:D]

Gentlemen,

I'd be willing to take a whirl on an 1812 multi-player game.

Very good Mister Davenport Sir, thank you. Do you have a fellow compatriot lined up, or will any other non-British officer or chief accompany the good Captain in this venture? Once a union is arranged for your side, we can discuss terms and fields of battle. Feel free to contact Lt. Counselman and myself at your convenience, we're looking forward to the engagement!

When there is still room, I'll second Steve. In the scenario and options that the three of you decide.

Splendid I say! The venerable (and very dour & bitter) head of the Colonial "Army" himself signs on for action...excellent by Jove! I'll have my manservant draw up the initial negotiations and dispatch them to you by courier straight away gentlemen.

Lt. Counselman, are your Hessian's braids clayed up Sir?

Jolly Good Show !! ... as my British bretheren would say. [8D]

Cousin Phil: I'm packing now for the upcoming campaign.
Would you recommend an overnight bag or might our exercise
take a trifle longer ?

You can get by on one measily overnight bag?? We love our Hessian allies but you really do need to expand your wardrobe old bean. I'll lend you 5 of my personal effects wagons, I have another 20 for myself and 10 for Bartholemew. [:o)]

Phil, what, did you fire those porters you got from Calcutta?

20 + 10 + 5 ??

Ghessh Phil ... that's .. uh .. lemme count ..... 35 !!!

What gives ?

How are we gonna surpise em playing Wagon Train ?

Let's see ... if you leave some of your Gentlemanly oils, perfumes, stockings, powders etc home you can cut 10 wagons right there.

Leave that little pink noise-box home and that's another 10 !! .. (we'll find another way to moisten His Majesty's acerage)

Then you're travelin lean & mean Olde Boy ... Hessian style [:o)]

Ken, face it, you'll have better luck talking him into leaving behind roundshot, gunpowder, rations for SMaj Smythe Smythe and his copy of the Manual of Arms
