Gentlemen - I am still awaiting the offical papers from Congress, but I wanted to say hello and please can someone get me a drink!!
Ahh, many thanks - (clumsily brushing Sir Natta's wig askew as drinks..[:p])

Yes the wound was not fatal (most fortunately for the cause of liberty!) - since that dirty Hessian put me out of action - but I have heard the call of my comrades and I have come back, abeit strapped + bandaged up a bit, so go easy!!

I see I am in the 'Grand' Army now [8D]- and Grand it is!!
Can I have a Marshal's baton please??

So, are there any fine British officers ready/willing (or even possibly able??) to commence hostilities c1776 style??

If so, please send a runner to my tent - can do 3-4 turns a week at the moment.

Many thanks, it's good to be back!! Salute to you all.

What are you doing with Natta's coiffure??[:o)]

You know he dotes on it, although he DOES have several styles and colors, to suit the occassion. I hope you didn't drop it into the sawdusty floor.[;)]

And sometimes, when he is really in his cups, he has been known to wear BART as a chapeau.[xx(]

Glad to see you back![^]

Ahh, there's a good lad now! Right...glad to see you back David Sir, salute! Colonel O'Connor has always been envious of my bouffant and takes a swipe at it on occasion as a school boy prank. [:o)] He's responsible though for my now patented wig chin strap which has become quite the rage in Europe. We must do battle sometime, at your convenience guvnah!

Ernie.. what have you started here!! hehe [:D] I just hope Bart is as well trained and water-tight as the breeches of your Guards Sir Phil.... [}:)]cmmon boy - think of a number!!! (starts running a few taps)...

Yes Larry - I would love to pick up our 'war' if you are interested - I shall dispatch a rider ASAP, I think I still have some of your officers 'trinkets' from your last expedition in my locker somewhere.. but you'll have to claim them back on the field!!

Good to see you are still out there Al (and I am still playing your scenarios by the way!), and I was very pleased to hear the news about your daughter earlier this month - my wife and I send you and your family our prayers.

Now gentlemen, have we had any brawls in this tavern since I left??

I was always aware that Bart loved his master, but this might be a bit extreme, even for the London Rake Sir Natta.

I sometimes forget I'm stuck here in these forsaken colonies and not back home in fashionable Old Blighty! [V] Obviously you farmers are still wearing straw hats and are not up on the latest haberdashery styles. [:(] And Bartholemew is as well trained as my guardsmen, and would never disappoint Daddy while perched atop me head. [^]....would he?[?]?

Sean Coffee was in here a few weeks ago and threw a mug at the wall to try to instigate a good brawl, but no one was up to the challenge back then. Here, I'll stand on this table and dare anyone to snatch this Union Jack I'm waving about. [}:)]
