I ran across a couple of definitions today. Canadians = Brits trying to be Americans. Australians = Americans trying to be Brits. [:D] |

Al, I would suggest this as correct: New Zealander = Scots or Welsh or Irish trying to be Brits - got lost in the South Pacific and ended up on an 'Island' in the wrong hemishphere Australians = Brits trying to Americans Australians want to follow America in everything. They even voted 2 years ago to abolish the Queen as head of state, it failed. New Zealanders are so pro British that they like beating up on Big Brother Australia. Heck, they gave me a 10 year license after only passing the written Learners test! They didn't even road test me and we drive on opposite side of the road here! My Sister-in-laws both from UK had to take test and drive on road, where they both failed and were forced to take it a 2nd time before passing, and they were both licensed drivers from UK!
