Post subject:  Teleportation into the 25th dimension

I currently have 2 single battles and 2 campaign battles running. Being often short of time I tried to open both the "main program" and the "campaign game" windows in order to see the replays of two battles all at the same time. I did that twice, but once at a time.

Then very strange things happened !![:0][:o)]

Troops of a single battle were moving on the map of a campaign battle. On the other hand, troops from a game I was absolutely not involved in were marching and fighting on a map I was playing. Fortunately everything went back in order after replays ended up and turns for the French player began.

Even more bizarre: one of my esteemed opponents (Hi Gene !!) enjoyed the same phenomenon when he opened the file of our game (single battle) and got a replay of a battle (campaign battle) I was playing against another opponent (Hi Dierk !!). Fortunately Gene has been able to play his turn under normal conditions. Only replays appeared to be corrupted. Looks like "teleportation" can be transmitted by zipping operations !!??[:I]

Though files were eventually no damaged I did not give a try a third time.

I thought this "story" would raise the attention of some of you.

PSi: No I was not drunk when it happened !![:p]
PSii: If that is a new trap of the British Intelligence to get French confused it is not funny [:D]

There is a couple of files that I understand are used for temporarily storing the events in the battle, pbemail.xxx and pbemail.yyy. When you have two games open at the same time, things probably get messed up. At least that's my guess. [:I]
