The king is having eye surgery. He caught a nasty pellet in the eye from one of his battles with the British and has to have it removed. All opponents - please look for files on Monday. (actually having laser eye surgery tomorrow and next Friday - one eye at a time - the better to see you with my dear!) |

Apparently the French keen interest in good vision is so that that when they hike up their skirts and flee, they can see where to step to avoid falling down |

Vision still blurred. Will keep you posted. Hope to return to put these young British pups in their place by Monday night. If not, well just carry on with the duty without me. No, no, my lad, its the SCOTS that hike up the skirts and its usually to run some good steel down your British throats! This one's for Ernie - [:D] = gotta go take more Anacin - the lousy tooth is at it again (throbbing). Would you mind mailing me some pliers? Its no fun being King let me tell you. I would happily replace my throne (chair in the dental office) for a lowly seat in a Marseille salon. |
