Sir, returning out of the foggy obscurity of real life and having moved to a different part of the world, I would be most happy to oblige you with a 1776 campaign game. I do prefer to use auto def fire, no rifle fire, optional fire & melee tables as a minimum. Other rules can be added or discussed, I am open to most suggestion. As house rules, I would encourage not to melee lone leaders except with cavalry and the usual habit of not using wagons etc to block zoc's. (Basically I look forward to "historical" use of troops, as far as it is possible - no line company "SEAL-teams" infiltrating and taking out rear echelon leaders/ wagons etc) I look forward to move my troops out of their cantonment as soon as practicable!
