I would suggest to tick on ALL optional rules EXCEPT: - Manual Defensive Fire - Rout Limiting - Optional Fire Results - Partial Retreats - Optional Melee Results - Multiple Cavalry Melees - Multiple Infantry Melees No further house-made rules or the like should apply, I think that common sense should be enough to avoid gamey behaviour.
