I am going to give this new system a test drive. Experienced opponent officer would be best.

I only have time for one game so first come first served. :D

Ed,

In case there are no Froggies around, I'd be happy to maneuver with you.

Ed,

I would be glad to try this out with you. I must confess that I have been impressed with the research that went into it, but skeptical as to how it will actually work in practice (I dislike the rout routine in general and wish there was some sort of a spectrum where a unit went from intact to disordered/functional to disrupted, in need of reorganization but still capable of some actions, to a retreat to a rout. But that is outside the scope of the changes in this. That being said, if it encourages the right behaviors along that spectrum, then I will embrace it).

Regards,
Jeff

Gents,

I'd ask You to do several things:
1. Turn off on map results feature.
2. If You set up password encription, please select a short and easy to remember password. If I could recommend "1" is the best choice.
3. Include in copy of all Your turns Alexey Tartyshev (alexey[dot]tartyshev[a]gmail[dot]com)

We collect, store and process the date about every and all battle events that happen during the tests. And we have to do that manually. Bill, If You know a better way to do that, your input would be really pecious! Also, Bill, You'll need to remove me from your black list.

Good Luck and hope You all will enjoy it!

One more thing.

You can consider the scenario offered as a kind of raw material. You may redeploy your troops within their current location in scenario editor and send it to Alexey. After compillation of both parts you'd be able to play a "customized" version.

Gentlemen,
Regarding the routing routine - you are more than welcome to try to TURN ON the Flank Morale Modifier as suggested by Bill. This hasn’t been tried yet and maybe it will work fine. Certainly will decrease some of the routing and will make your game more pleasant if you are concerned about routs.

Would be interesting to see how the battle will progress with FMM ON considering that the scenario is quite tough - it’s an open field where approaching troops can be pounded by artillery and both armies (especially French) have nowhere to hide.

Anton - I did check my Blocked list and you are not on it. I did add you to my approved list so that your mail gets to me for sure
