1th Lieutenant Dr.Klaus Kuhlmann,

Yikes! Dear doctor, you do realize that you are about to do battle with a "Marechal." Are you "ILL?" :? Oh well, all I can say is, physician heal thyself!

Bonn Chance,

My Dear Lt. Wencz:

Lt. Kuhlmann is a Coalition officer, and a fellow German at that. "Marechals" hold little fear for such brave men as he. It is the officers who spell their rank as "Marshals" of which you should be truly afraid. Of course, in Lt. Kuhlmann's case, the "Marshals" are all already on his side anyway.

Where is that noble Sir Muddy? I seem to have dropped the fine sword that his German blacksmith made for me and am in need of another. I could probably use some riding lessons as well. My new Guard's stallion seems stronger willed than I. When I say "von links", he just looks at me as if I am speaking a foreign language. Surely they did not give a German officer a horse who only understands English!

Colonel Jones Sir Muddy is busy getting his boots dirty in the field of honour in Belgium.
In search of a fancy Medal offered by the Prussians. I am in search of another fine sword for my collection.

It's really a fetish you know, all these swords that you collect. You can only effectively use one at any given time, and you invariably use your own.

I do think that medal would look quite nice around Sir Muddy's neck. Too bad though, for as rumor has it, the medal seems to cause a Coalition officer's death everytime he reaches for it. :( :( :(

Ooooh, shiney! :P :P :P

President Colonel Jones,

I believe you are quite correct about the good Lieutenant Doctor Kuhlmann. He and I are currently engaged in battle at (Talonsoft) Ligny. Not only is he a brave officer, he is also quite competent in the art of war. It's just that I all too well remember getting thoroughly destroyed by an instructor "Marechal" at the Ecole Militare. It took days to scrape my morale up off the floors. :( I can only think that the good doctor is delirious from some sort of "Talonsoft Fever." I fear that he now thinks that just because he can hold his ground against the likes of me that he can do the same against a Marechal. When the good Marechal gets done with him, I do hope his Coalition friends will be around to retrieve his carcas before the buzzards get it! :P

Sire !

As I was born 40 km northwest of Lüneburg I´m from a region that belonged to the former Kingdom of Hannover !
As a German I´m not afraid of loosing a battle, we are fighting for the Glory !

Bon chance, Klaus

Well met, Klaus! A real Hanoverian. I like it! :P :P :P

The fact that Paul Johnson is a Marechal is not really all that telling. Anyone who has played long enough could be a Marechal. The fact that he is the Commander of the Vielle Garde Grenadiers a Cheval is a different matter altogether. You only become a member of the Old Guard by winning.

Give him fits, sir! If you can knock him off that big horse he is riding first, you might stand a chance. Remember, 50% if an Old Guardsman's image lies in his hat. They are a lot shorter without it.

The gallant Lt could not stop the steady build up of pressure and a devastating cavalry charge on his left flank was the final straw, the writing was on the wall and colours were struck. Hopefully the Lt's friends can indeed pick up the pieces for him.

Well done, Marechal Johnson! Another fine victory for La Vieille Garde.

I am certain that our Lieutenant will benefit from the lessons learned at your masterful hand. 8) 8) 8)
