Looking for an Opponent for our new title: Leipzig Your Choice of side and scenario is fine with me. Rules can be negotiated on. Kulm? Dresden? The 3 or 4 Day battle at Leipzig? Takers? Specifically, I'm looking for an opponent who can dish out between 2-3 turns a week. I don't expect that I, nor anyone, in all reality, can continuously dish out (5 turns a week on average) that often, just don't disappear on me ![]() ![]() PM me or send me an email over to AustrianBlitz {at} Yahoo {dot} com ![]() ![]() ![]() |

We played #074 several times during development. Operational Leipzig. In a TEAM format. Turns went back and forth at a rapid pace. While I am sure that most folks would not want to go at our pace I think that some folks will be surprised at how fast the turns can be completed. #074 and those like it are GREAT MP games. |

Anyone? For a Leipzig Campaign or large scenario?...these minimal responses are unimpressive....This opponent finder section has really never been able to compare to the ACWGC opponent finder.section, that place is usually hopping, must be the lack of interest one has for Nappy vs. The interest one has for the ACWGC. I don't know...... ![]() |

Well the numbers of membership are different and also a lot of folks tend to play the same people after they find an opponent they like... ![]() Plus I think the French are afraid to even buy Leipzig.... ![]() |

Sheesh! It just came out yesterday. ![]() Let me buy it first and then I'd be glad to try it out. Might be a bit slow in the files (more like 1-2 per week for a while) as the SON tourney is set to start and I have a few other games going as well. If that is agreeable, then I'll shoot you an email after I have time to get the game later this week. |

Yes, the game did just come out Fred, so give the guys some time to get it. By the weekend you should get a solid bite. Large battles - hmm, well HTH offers more opportunity than the Solo aspect. Multiday battles work better HTH and any of them in the game were ONLY meant for HTH as I felt that anything past the first day would be meaningless to try and program using scripts. If you are looking for a relatively short period to contact then the Katzbach battles are good as are the Kulm battles. Dresden also comes to blows very quickly. Leipzig CAN go that way. It all depends on the French player. Now if you do not mind some grand maneuvering I would suggest any of the Operational Leipzig scenarios such as 074 or 075. And may I note that I did find that a cav regiment version of Op Leipzig is a good thing as it does reduce the amount of units you have to move on the whole. The Bonus situations I built near the end of development are very good for operational marches. I am playing Bonus 3 with Paco currently. Bonus 5 & 6 are good as is Bonus 7. And you may opt for a Multiplayer game with a team approach. I am going to hunt down 3 members in the club that are interested in playing one of the larger battles. I think that the really large battles are best played that way. Takes some good chemistry to pull it off but if you get a good team it can be hard to beat. |
