I am available, what do you think about a fight at Quatre-Bras, it's not too big.
What do you think of the following optional rules?
(no multiple melee for cavalry/infantry)

2nd Lt Bell Salute! I would cross swords with you sir, on the battle field of Jena (Jena game) if you would be agreeable. I could recommend scenario #08a1Jena (65 turns, Ruchel's Corps arriving earlier - 1100 hrs). Send a courier to my tent if you wish, to discuss terms. |

Both of those games sound ok. My email is jimlbell@hotmail.com. I shall start them shortly, if I am the first side. The optional rules selected by David are acceptable to me for both games. |

This officer of Tirailleurs doffs his shako, and bows his head before brave Lieutenant Bell. His staunch line of Prussian infantry repulsed the repeated assualts of the serried ranks of French fantassins. They remained firm in the face of near point blank range artillery fire, and never wavered as the cavalry charged upon them. In our battle at Jena I have suffered a major defeat, and I can say, if ever I have a position that must be held, at all cost, I would greatly desire Lieutenant Bell to command that position. I heartily recommend the Lieutenant to any of my fellow Grande Army officers who wish to test their mettle against a fine adversary. As for myself, I too look forward to meeting him upon the field of honor and glory in the future, but not until I have wiped the soot from my eyes, and the blood from my uniform. Salute! |

Now that is exactly what I like to hear, particularly since Lt. Bell in my MP partner in the ongoing SON Tournament! Congratulations, James for what sounds like a very fine victory on a field of battle selected by your opponent!  My commisserations to you Lt. Schmidgall, as you are decidedly one of my favorite junior officers in La Grande Armee.  And as for our next opponents that we will soon meet in Round 3 of the tournament, I am sure the Lt. Bell and I would be happy to accept your swords before the battle is even joined should you just wish to expedite things by surrendering at the outset. What say you Marechal Bardon?  (Yeah, I know I am likely to get my chops busted good for that one! Jeff is liable to take my sword from me and beat me profusely with the flat of the blade before breaking it over his knee. Helga, another shot of Jager please, I think I am going to need it shortly, and I find it best to introduce it into my system in advance of the time when it will actually be required.  )
