Oooofff! I guess you would, Ernie. I think my young Lieutenant has lost his mind.

Mike, you are aware that you have about 7% more men than Ernie, but that he has 100% French Guard units? About 50% of your forces are Morale C or D. You will also have to be the attacker. I think you are crazy, but I guess we all have to learn somewhere.

I will be very surprised if you can hold out in #55 either. You are outnumbered by better troops that you literally have to hold for eleven turns. The French artillery advantage is enormous and your fellows are nearly all Morale D. There is nowhere to shelter your men from his artillery fire and streams are easily crossed. :o :o :o

My friend, if you can pull these off, you will certainly have earned my respect. Especially the one against Ernie. Cripes! :? :? :?

Humm... I do not agree on 055 Zahna. I played the Prussians 3 times and won every time... well these were training battles again cadets 8)

Baa Ha Ha..... Now we know what it takes to get a General of France to come to the field of battle against a mere Lieutenant of Hannover. How many points would you like to spot me my dear General?
I would think that one of such stature would find scenario 119 a better test of ones ability, or do you only take to the field of battle if the Beautiful Daughters are present?

Hmmm... Well then perhaps you should play this battle as the Prussians against me. After all, you have the advantage of having played it three times already, and I have never set foot upon this field. By shear coinicidence, once upon a time I was also a cadet. :P

And as for scenario 109, if there is any Frenchman who so desperately needs to add a Hanoverian sword to his collection, I will gladly place mine on the altar of battle. Just drop me an email and let me know. I will be very glad to command the French troops against you in this one. My, my, all you French fellows with the hairy hats are tall buggers aren't you! :(

As you may have guessed from my picture... I never refuse a fight :) ... Even the most suicidal ones
I let you choose the optional rules.

Thanks, but this French Capitaine just got one, ask your Lieutenant Piccolo! and hopefully I will not be giving it to you in the very near future!

Congratulations, Al!

Alas, my poor bruised Lieutenant. I have spoken with him about this and his morale remains high. I have found that the only way to truly defeat a man is to irrevocably break his spirit. At that point, he will embark on a journey to continually defeat himself. Lieutenant Peccolo's spirit has not dimmed in the least, I am glad to say. It is a simple matter of having that fine German Swordsmith of Sir Muddy's forge him a new blade and he will be right back in the thick of things summarily dispatching his ememies to the abyss. :P :P :P

Oh, by the way, if you want to just trade Mike's sword for the one of yours that Helga is currently holding, that would be OK by me. I don't keep them anyway. Well, only long enough to register them with Army Command.

I must say that those Russian chaps of yours are stalwart indeed! Despite my rather abrupt appearance and initial rough handling, your Grenadiers are still standing the field nearly to the man. I expected a bit more panic than that. Hmmmm, I suppose I shall have to carefully look at this next turn to see what I can do to put real fear into them. My thinking right now is to cart forward a large tub of soapy, warm water and place it plainly in thier Line of Sight. The idea that they might be forced to take a bath is sure to precipitate a headlong rout don't you think?

I would, however, like to examine Stephane's blade for bit. I have the feeling it is quite sharp and, having used Scenario #55 for at least three of his training games, I am sure he knows every nook and cranny in which to hide. Counted out all movements as well I am sure. Ah, it is not too often that this old Hanoverian places his head in a noose, but I suppose stranger things can happen. :o :o :o
