I want to start up this battle AFTER the update comes out. Options to be discussed prior to start of play.

House Rules:

1. Detached Leaders - their brigades may not move beyond their present boundaries.

2. Out of Command Leaders - their brigades may not conduct melees that turn.

3. Detached units - may not move further than 2 hexes.

4. Disordered units - may not melee unless it is to escape from being surrounded or cavalry that is following up on a charge.

Detached leaders and units can be highlighted on the map easily using the View -> Highlight -> Detached units.

Disordered/Out of Command units/leaders can easily be highlighted by using the D key on the Toolbar.

No cheap attacks to Disorder a stack of units. Use common sense. You have ONE squadron - do not attack a force 3x the size of yours with the idea of just making them Disordered.

If I do not get a game .. .oh well, if the club just wants to play "anything goes" I will just design scenarios for you guys. It is not about the AMOUNT of games I play anymore but HOW they are played. And yes, Colin, Jeff B. whoever, House Rules CAN work and the players CAN make them work without arguing about them. Point made and proven. You want to play "house of cards," have fun without me.
