Hola Senors, gentleman, officers of reknown, and Frenchman! After many turns down the wrong alleys and directions from some shady characters that I am sure are French spies, I have made my way to Pick-A-Fight Street.

I am looking for a fight in the Leipzig game, something in the 30 - 40ish turns. I usually can do a turn a day, often more. It would be a blind scenario for me. I am bringing my second hand store saber just in case Mother Victory turns her back on me.
Open to suggestions for optional rules. Any that guarantee an allied victory are preferred.

My small command tent is located at nh260 at msn dot com. It is on the back side of the Horse Guards stable. I've been told if I have a string of victories I will be allowed to move to a more prestigious locale.

Well, I will have some tasty wine and freshly baked bread whist I await a response.

Adios!

Mon ami come join the Prussian Brig and we can call it a Allied Brig also . IF they let a Haitian in it you would be welcome also consider it!

My Lord, I am honored at your suggestion that I should become a member of such an august group. With your vast array of awards, medals, and honors; I am truly touched at your reaching out to me. And with you being the inventor of one of the finest sandwhiches around, The Monte Cristo (Benningan's had the best), I can imagine a life with a full stomach. But alas, I must cleanse my homeland of this scourge that has been set upon us. King Joe Boney Part must be escorted back to the French border where he can become a sous chef.

Viva Espana, a FREE Espana!

Looking down the list of Leipzig scenarios there is one listed near the end of the list, z_M15-082 Leipzig_HTH.scn

I didn't see the part where the allies win but I am sure it was supposed to be there. Especially since there are French involved....

Hmmmm, a Prussian force with a Haitian and a Texan. Not even the old Guard could stand up to such a combination. But alas muchacho, Espana needs men like me to incite the people to resist all that is French; make up for men, cold soup, using your tongue while kissing ... Ok we can work with that, and skinny fajitas ( or as you say Le Crepes).

But there will be a time when Spain and Prussia fight side by side to honor and glory! Though it would be nice if you went first ....

Sir,

While strolling through Rhine Tavern, I noticed your impetuous challenge is still carved on the French table. If you have not yet departed to the front, I would be honored to be your opponent.

Cordialment,

Lt. Col Bill Reaves

Ah, Lt Col Reaves, it is with the utmost respect that I salute and thank you for your reply. I will have to make sure I leave my new parade saber in the barracks as I am sure to lose it in battle. I will send my servant with further messages.

If I may be so bold, I was lead to believe from the elders in the Allied Coalition dining hall that the French commanders could not read. Is the carving in the table at the tavern of a brave matador standing over a dented gold eagle in a triumphant, nay, strutting pose?

It is not that we cannot read Spanish, it is that we seldom bother; it will soon be replaced by the language of civilization. And, alas, our beautifully carved bar table was stolen by Cossacks who mistook it for part of the Spanish throne, no doubt due to it's odor of rancid wine.

I await your messenger.

With all due belligerence,

Lt. Col. Reaves

I love it!

You two are going to get along splendidly. Somewhere in these tavern archives lies a post entitled "Friendly MP Game Banter" if memory serves. I would recommend it for your reading pleasure, Richard. Also, so that you may come to realize the full measure of Bill's literary skills. If you cannot find it, let me know and I will bump it back to the top.

I raise a toast to both of you gentlemen! Your verbal exchanges are most entertaining. :P :P :P

It is because we represent the romance languages. Spanish with their love of beautiful women and works of art. French with the desire for slippery foods and questionable men-like creatures in tight trousers...

Do not forget, mon ami, what was once yours is now ours.

We are not surprised you do not recognize what is in the tight trousers; we suggest you consult your wives and mistresses for numerous detailed descriptions.

Yours in eternal domination,

The French Lieutenant-Colonel
