Looking for an Allied Player for 1805 Campaign - Optional Rules to be discussed
House Rules - MOE - IV / Stacking limits - Max 3 Sqs of Cav in one Hex / 2 Battalions of Inf in one hex and 2 batteries per hex

No Allies game for something different in the Augsburg campaign ? - it will likely yield a more historical type battles or do all the Allies only prefer the battering ram style ?

Me thinks the allies will baulk at the stacking restrictions good Sir.

Let the system hex stacking restrictions stand and you might get more interest.

If not then I'd be willing to do a maneuver with you if you interested as I like the look of it and have yet to play it. I'd go Allies if you like.

Sir - salute - I do believe your are right the Allies never want to fight any battle where the odds are not stacked heavily in their favor - once you introduce house rules to balance the game - the allies are no where to be seen - will be happy to do a maneuver - my headquarters awaits your courier with proposed optional rules

I would be interested to join in battle, but, alas, I have only the following titles:
Leipzig
Bautzen
Eckmuhl
Waterloo

If you feel a battle is not balanced, please choose the battle you would like to play that you feel is balanced and allow me to choose which side I will play :shock: I have no problems playing Allies or French. But be warned, after playing a scenario as the Allies and winning, my French opponent and I changed sides and I beat him rather badly as the French. :twisted: .

Either way, step up to the bar and have a trink on mir! :D

Colonel - Salute - My poke was for fun - as I could get no allied response . I have accepted the maneuver - so alas - but shortly I will have few games drop off so please save a spot open and I will be happy to cross swords in any of the games you noted - perhaps a mirror as you suggest - never done one - now for that drink , never refuse a free drink , especially when the allies are buying - Helga a cold ale on the fine Colonel's tab - Thank you sir
