I call heads. If I win, rout limiting on. If I lose, it is off.

Gentlemen, Recently , some of the officers have conviced me to buy bautzen or austerlitz . i have chosen "le soleil d'austerlitz" so i need an allied officer for any scenario of your choice. my optional rules preferences are: All selected except 1/ manuel defensive fire 2/ rout limiting 3/ optional fire results 4/ no retreat overruns 5 /partial retreats 6/ optional melee results 7/ multiple infantry melees . no home rules if possible. good turnaround. Dear Lieutenant Paoli, I'd be happy to take up your challenge. This will be the third game I'm playing, but I can still do about 4 turns a week. Is that a fast enough turnaround? Also, how about rout limiting on? |

Rout limiting off may be more historical but it is but it is puts the the Allied side at a serious disdvantage in most of the Napoleonic titles. If you want rout limiting off I suggest you play something off the Bautzen, Leipzig, or 1814 disks where the troop quality is more equal. It will still be more difficlut for the Allies to reorder because of the crazy command stucture they have. |

Do they really route or just move to another position quickly, without the need of command personnel? And weapons. Or any sense of pride and dignity... |
