I found a senior officer willing to take me under his wing for a training/mentoring game with two like-minded French commanders, a senior and a junior officer.

We can arm wrestle over any optional rules that are in dispute.

We were thinking something like the Battle of Leipzig with the campaign option so that each side can add some additional fog of war to the game. Waterloo-Wavre is another possibility. We are open to other suggestions.

Prefer no house rules and fast turnaround times.

Please PM me if interested.

Hi Mike,

I sent you a PM and my email address... let's talk! I will try to find a partner... think I know a guy or two who might be interested!

Hi Michael,

Let's do it! My first 'go to' guy would be Todd Schmidgall (I already sent him an email), but I am pretty sure that he would be happy to see you and I team up first. Todd usually already has a million games going on at any given time
... so my guess would be that his calendar would not allow a grand undertaking such as this.

LOL

Just waiting to hear back from Mr. Friedman and partner.

Salute!

Michael and Tim - it is great to see the two of you teaming up! 8)

Tim, we really must get you enlisted into the ranks of the Tirailleurs et Dragons!

This could be your first official battle among our ranks - as Michael is a long standing member of our merry band of brothers.

Enjoy your tilt with M. Friedman (an officer making his mark upon the battle maps himself).

I do believe that the three of us are likely to find him coming at us out of the woods or low ground in our Escadron d'Honneur challenge vs the Hanoverians.

Regards,

:D

I seem to be working with a variety of Mikes and Michaels these days!

Michael Hodl - Please send me your email address so that you and I can begin communicating together amongst ourselves, and with the ENEMY.

Mike Friedman - I received your email... and response will be sent out very shortly. It all looks good. I will fire up the campaign, and send it off to you, and we can get some MP play going. Looking forward to this... your partner is well chosen!

Tim

Yes. I have heard that Andy is above average in these games.

I fully agree with you Tim. Andy is a great player, and a wonderful gentlemen who has done an awful lot for the advancement of the Coalition over the years. There is no telling how many 'young minds' he has trained. :P :P :P

I understand your feelings about everyone seemingly named Mike. In our ongoing Hanoverian Challenge match, I have to be very careful to address either Mike P. or Mike F. when discussing our movements, lest we all step on one another in the confusion. :o
