Officers of France, I am looking to pit my Prussians against your men (so any game involving the Prussians - Jena, Bautzen, 1814 or Waterloo). I do not mind a campaign or a scenario - name your field. Yours |

Lieutenant Sheffield. I shall be honoured to meet you there. I am away for two days without access back late on Wednesday (I live in the UK). If you wish to register, please go ahead. Do you have any special game options? Regards |

Salute! General Lieutenant Hames, and Lieutenant Sheffield... It is good to see the crossing of swords upon the battle maps of Jena-Auerstadt. ![]() I myself have recently started a MP game in the Battle of Karlsburg scenario. I have good memories of playing the Battle of Tongrinne with you in another MP game, Ian. It is my hope that some day in the future we can cross our swords again. As for this battle the two of you are about to embark upon - I must give my wishes for success to the Lieutenant (after all, he is of the Reserve Cavalerie!). Regards, |

There was a day when I would agree with General Schmidgall in his well wishes for the victory of Officer Sheffield, but that was before he lost his mind, along with his fine, red British coat. ![]() ![]() ![]() Gute gluck, Herr Hames! May you send the French Cavalry Lieutenant home with an empty scabbard, and a humble countenance. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Greetings Generallieutenant Hames, this should be a good contest. I will hold back from opening and registering a game until you’re in agreement with my game options which are – All options ON with the exception of – Manual Defensive Fire - Victory Points for Leader Casualties - Column Pass Through Fire - Partial Retreats - Line Movement Restriction - Multiple Infantry Melees and also MOEIV rules. You can contact me at titan1655 (AT) ntlworld (DOT) com on your return. Thank you for your best wishes General Schmidgall. General Jones, I appreciate that you must support my former collaborator now foe as I march under the French tricolour. ![]() <Salute> |

Do try to avoid getting yourself killed, John. The surrender of a French blade is a rather common practice in my experience, but I certainly do not wish you any true harm. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

You have never been anything other than supportive of everyone in this club on both sides Mark but all is fair in role-playing. Perhaps I should have held onto my fine red uniform in order to confuse my opponents but you ruined it when you tore off the ribbons, epaulettes and buttons on the parade ground when I declared my intention to become a defector. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Why I did nothing of the kind, sir. I allowed you to remove your noble, British uniform with your rank and medals intact, folded it neatly, and placed it in a cedar chest for safe keeping until such time as you returned to your senses and rejoined the cause of our just and benevolent king. ![]() ![]() ![]() It is true, however, that you did depart our lines to join the Seditious Rabble of France dressed only in your skivvies. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I didn't want to dwell on that and I agree it wasn't a pretty sight... ![]() ![]() ![]() knee length cotton drawers but they could be put to good use in scaring the enemy as Scott's picture of me proves. ![]() |
