Bonjour Unterleutnant Scheitel, Would you be interested in engaging in a slightly altered version of alt scn# 13h of the Eckmuhl game? The changes would be 1) reduce cavalry stacking to 416 2) add pioneers to scenario ( vital to Austrians ) 3) addition of 2 bridges over Naab River. |

If you are still looking for an opponent I have all the games you have listed apart from Jena. Let me know your preference. Regards |

Thomas - in regards to Pioneer units - #2 on your list. Are you saying that MORE need to be added or that your version of the scenario doesn't have any at all? I note that in the version of the game I have (1.15) there are Pioneer units in the Austrian OB and on the map. Are you having problems finding them? Also - where would you need to bridge a river on the map? Are you talking about the 1st and 2nd Armeekorps up in the north? On 19 April at 1:30pm there are Pioneers that enter the map. More arrive on 21 April at 1:30pm at the same location (hex 284, 0). Pioneers were added to the game at my request. I remember there may have been a lag in me adding them to the scenarios. Hope that you have the latest version of this one. Note: Pioneers can now break down into skirmisher formation to avoid huge losses when stacked together. But you probably knew this ... |

Hello Bill, I have the 1.15 version installed but there are no pioneer units on the map or in the unit arrival scheduled. I checked the Editor for this scenario and all the Austrian pioneers are still in the unit dialogue. As for the bridges, I added a "0" value bridge building site at ( 298,123) , to simulate the bridge the Austrians built to escape to the north bank after the battle of Eckmuhl. I also added bridges at (166,66) and (192,109) so that the Austrian I Corps and II Corps were not isolated from each other on the north bank. Since we don't have pontoon bridging units I thought this was a fair way to solve the isolation problem. Tom |

Hello Bill, I see the problem. The pioneers are present in scn# 13h but not in 13a. Tom |

Thanks, Thomas, I will check that out! Probably an easy fix and I will post the corrected scenario in the next update. |
