We could help each other, monsieur le lieutenent.  I play all Peninsular campaigns' scenarios randomly in the chronological order. Now, it is 1809, November in my calendar. I play the Battle of Ocana. November, 9th (the Southern front of 1809's campaign). And the next supposed to be Alba de Tormes. November, 9th too (the Northern front). The scenario is small - 15 turns only. I agree with your choice of Optional Rules.
