I am looking for a French opponent of similar experience who is interested in an 'alternative' battle. The scenario is <i>31 - Wellington Flinches, Bluecher Advances</i> on BGW (if you don't have the scenario file, I can sent it to you). The scenario basically puts a French advance guard on the West of the map; while a similar Prussian force starts in the East. Reinforcements arrive throughout the battle and the starting victory level suggests a Prussian offensive. I am aware that some of these scenarios can be quite unbalanced, though I have purposely not analysed the reinforcements so as to make it more exciting and would request that opponents do the same. I would therefore propose that if neccessary, victory levels can be agreed after the battle (if we can't agree, then call it a draw).
Rule-wise, I prefer: All optional rules except line movement restriction. A three 3 hex leash on skirmishers to a battalion of their brigade. And skirmishers may not melee non skirmisher opponents unless they outnumber them.
