Bonjour à tous, I am looking for someone willing to play the Russian side on one of the longer scenarios in <font color="yellow"><i><b>BG </b>- Napoleon in Russia</i></font id="yellow">. Since I played Kutuzov Turns to fight many times, I would like to try one of the variants where the French arrive by the south. We could discuss it but I would prefer to play with all options on (except line movement restriction) and no house rules. My way of seeing things is that the <i>line movement restriction </i>option does not reflect historical realism. From what I learned about the Napoleonic era, batalions were able to advance in line formation on clear terrain without <u>automatically</u> getting disordered. Even before these days, the armies of Frederick the Great were a good example of good line movement.
