Greetings! Newly commissioned and ready to test the field of battle! I am looking for an opponent to engage in a small to medium size scenario, any of the HPS or BGW games. Any frenchman ready to taste Austrian steel? [:)]

Here's one that I just came across today and would want to try ... Maloyaroslavets from NRC. Looks quite interesting and halfway balanced. All optional rules except MDF, RL, and the optional fire/melee results? And a short list of common house rules. Send courier if interested.

That sounds good...what is the short list house rules you mention? (pardon my "greeness"[:)])

Just the bare minimum:
- Skirmishers within 3 hexes of parent brigade, unless in covered terrain such as villages, forest, marsh.
- No cavalry charges where the first hex meleed is not a clear or field hex.
- No withdrawing units from the map when actually engaged with the enemy.
If that's good with you, send a courier and I'll send a file--the French have the first move I think.
