I am a bit confused here. The readme file says this is for Eck 1.09, but I always thought that the HPS games had been blocked for add-on maps after v. 1.01, and this here comes with a new map, evidently. So I installed it in 1.01 and it works just fine ... [?] <center> D.S. First, I didn't notice before, but they seem to employ a "cracked" CPE.EXE that accepts the add-on map. It's part of the download. Second, here's my translation of the instructions: 1) Insert original Campaign Eckmuhl CD in your drive and install game in a new folder named "Marengo 1800". 2) Patch Eckmuhl up to v. 1.09. http://www.hpssims.com/Pages/updates/up ... %20Eckmuhl 3) Delete all maps, scenario, PDT and OOB file from main folder. 4) Unzip all downloads into the appropriate folders (main, map, info). 5) Play and enjoy. In order to do this, you can first rename the main Eckmuhl folder as something else, like add an "X" to the name. Then install the game; it will not "see" the camp... EckmuhlX folder and install. Another way is just to COPY the entire folder to a TEMP directory, rename it MARENGO (or whatever) then MOVE that folder back to the ROOT of your game drive.
