Gentlemen,
this is for all members who want to create a custom signature for their posts:
Click on User Control Panel.
Under Options click on Profile.
Then Click on Edit signature.
You will see a box where you can create a text signature and various buttons for customizing it.
There are buttons for editing various things like font size, text color, etc., and also to including images with the Img button.
NOTE:To add an image it must be online on a site that allows remote loading.
The NWC webpages allow this so for example if you wish to have your units icon/flag displayed you can go to your armies OOB webpage.
Find your unit and right click on your image.
Then select Copy Image Link.
Returning to the signature page click the Img button, place the cursor between the bracketed Img /Img and right click and paste the image link you copied.
You should have something like this between the brackets:

When you Preview you should see something like this:
