Post subject:  the bug of midnight

we play the large scn called 062.btl in Waterloo (Expansion package edition). We are at the end of the 1st journey. It is 11.00PM, my opponent (Allies[B)]) played his turn, and sent me (French[:D]) the file. when i open it (seeing replay or not, i tried the two ways)
1) there's no little window to tell it's a new turn[:0]
2) it's still 11.00PM[:(]
3) i can't move any unit because of remote control![:(!]
4) i can't click on "next turn" because of remote control again and
5) when i want to save it tells me "end of pbem game"[}:)]
so i did, to see what happens and then, i need allies encryption key to open the file[xx(]
did my men suddenly asleep because of the night[|)] or is there a bug with the new day coming[?]

Ok, first off, try deleting the pbemail.xxx and pbemail.yyy files, and see if that helps.

After that, I'd suggest sending the game file to Rich Hamilton, at support@hpssims.com

And the .yyy file really is the only one you need to delete it turns out. Plus the other player needs to redo the turn. Usually that is where the problem lies. When they did their turn corrupt data gets into the .bte file.

So usually your opponent has to redo the turn and then send it to you.

I highly suggest that all MOE players delete their temp files as often as possible.
