Is anyone playing this game? If so do you like it? Would it be a worthy addition to the club? yes i do![:)] and i like it very much, it's a pity that it's very difficult to find any member of that club to play with[V] fortunatly, i've found some elsewhere... especially i like the system of orders which are simultaneously resolved because we know that is impossible in HPS! I want to look more into the game and whether it works with XP64 and if it does I will buy it when I get some funds and we can play. Thanks for the link Dierk. I seem to remember something was said about it but didnt want to get it confused with EIA. This is an entirely different game, it's an operational game, not a tactical one. The map is divided by areas, not hexes, and each turn is a week or so (not positive, I have the ACW and ARW games, not this one).
quote:

quote:
i like the system of orders which are simultaneously resolved because we know that is impossible in HPS!

wow great, simultaneous resolution is much better than un-realistic I GO U GO system. Note: Not sure if Bill is still monitoring this thread, but I did submit a request to join the CCC to see if I could find opponents, but a couple weeks later, still have not heard anything. Do you know who I would contact ? I just recently received my copy of BOA II and am enjoying it very much. Wasn't really thinking in terms of PBEM, but I had heard that the AI was a formidable foe and so far it is living up to it's name. Only partway through the Early campaign (1759 - 1763) and it is a very close affair. Looks like they got their support lessons from Bill and Rich, already have a couple of patches that have resolved issues. Too bad they could not resolve the battles a little more imaginatively, but it is still fun. Each turn is a month's time, and as someone else mentioned, turns are resolved simultaneously. John - I (will, don't, whatever) have nothing to do with the CCC. Especially since they think I am a trouble maker and wont let me back in. You will need to get with one of the members there and get them to help you out. As far as I am concerned the CCC can rot for the way they have treated me over the last few years. Kudos to the clubs that let me rejoin sometime back. At least in those Ernie does not rule like some king.
