Post subject:  A Toast to Marechal Bruce Hall

A very tired and muddied horse and rider gallup up to the Tavern. The horse stops suddenly and throws it's rider to the ground. The Allied officer collects his dignity and walks into the Tavern, leaving a trail of mud across the pine floor. Helga begins to protest but the muddied officer holds up his hand to silence her. He dangles a pouch of gold coin in front of her eyes.

"Helga, open the bar for all of my friends. Tonight we drink to Marechal Bruce Hall who has emerged victorious in our engagement around Jena. For over 300 turns, we did battle. The longest fight of my long career. By the third day I was forced by Marechal Hall and his French invasion force to order my Prussian army to retire to the east in the hope of gaining aid from my Russian ally. Actually, I was considering surrender when to my surprise, my army made a break for the bridges at Halle. Now, I find myself in a second scenario after 300 turns in the first. Mr. Peters must be proud.

Anyway, I ramble. Food and drinks on me in honor of my esteemed and skilled opponent, Marechal Bruce Hall."

Ah ha! Halle! Good luck to you Muddy! A tough nut for the Allies to crack that one.

Good job Mon. Hall! Sounds like a fun time was had by all!
