Gentlemen,

You may find this link useful
http://www.napoleon-series.org/military ... Intro.html
So far it contains only a few brief histories, but it will be expended. With www.regiments.org closed it's a great online source on the history of British regiments.

The same site has extensive histories of the French, Austrians, Prussians and some Russians as well. Very good for creating oobs with historical leaders, etc.

Whatever happened to www.regiment.org ?

It was a great site and I spent a great deal of tim elinking all the Anglo-Allied Army regiments to it.

BTW, geocities is going down according to their web site. Can anyone e-mail me a suggestion as to another site for the Anglo-Allied Army web site?

Navigation through the site also works well. Enjoy!

Actually you have to go to:
http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

And then type in www.regiments.org

Then select from the listing of dates that the site was active.

From what I can gather about ARCHIVE.ORG, it is an archive of active and inactive web sites.
