Gentlemen, You may find this link useful http://www.napoleon-series.org/military ... Intro.html So far it contains only a few brief histories, but it will be expended. With www.regiments.org closed it's a great online source on the history of British regiments.
![]()
Eyo Imperatorskogo Velichestva Leib-Kirassirskogo polku General-Adjutant Anton Valeryevich Kosyanenko Commander of the Second Army of the West
|

The same site has extensive histories of the French, Austrians, Prussians and some Russians as well. Very good for creating oobs with historical leaders, etc. al |

It was a great site and I spent a great deal of tim elinking all the Anglo-Allied Army regiments to it. BTW, geocities is going down according to their web site. Can anyone e-mail me a suggestion as to another site for the Anglo-Allied Army web site? Can't understand why I didn't try this earlier.[:I] Our beloved regiments.org is available at this link http://web.archive.org/web/200801160904 ... ments.org/ Navigation through the site also works well. Enjoy!
![]()
Eyo Imperatorskogo Velichestva Leib-Kirassirskogo polku General-Adjutant Anton Valeryevich Kosyanenko Commander of the Second Army of the West
|

Actually you have to go to: http://www.archive.org/web/web.php And then type in www.regiments.org Then select from the listing of dates that the site was active. From what I can gather about ARCHIVE.ORG, it is an archive of active and inactive web sites. Ernie Sands General, 1ère Brigade, 19ème Division, VI Corps, L'Armee du Rhin President, Colonial Campaign Club |
