Hi guys, My old horse has gone belly up on me and I'm now having to re-install my games onto the Vista o.s. I know that I'll have to download the vista patch from HPS but I believe I read somewhere in the club that the games should not be installed into program files but just into the C:/ drive. My question is do I still have to install as above even though there is now a patch or can I just install to the default folder i.e. program files? Thanks in advance. Gidday from Wellington John! Yes don't install it in the Programs folder on vista it will not run properly especially on move replays. I've had to recently install the HPS games on Vista. I've had no problems at all (other than with GW for some reason). My install path is 'c:/HPS Simulations' Nik Butler NWC - Lt Col, 6th Brigade, 4th Div, British Army |
