Dear All, thanks for the response. Making such a newsletter is basicly simply a question of collecting news from the armies and add extra articles. It can be collected in a Word document or PDF...and then we can place it on the NWC website. The frequency is up to the auditor. Anyone can do this. But it requires some time to do it. Time which I don't have, doing many other things for the club. Anybody interested? I can help to set the system up.[:)] -------------------------------------------------------- Luitenant-Generaal Marco Bijl Commander Anglo-Allied army. 2nd Dutch guides (guards). But do the armies write up their news? Who writes articles? I believe that's why newsletters die ... not because the editors fail, but because they depend on other people to deliver the stuff, and most people these days prefer gaming to writing, it seems.
[url="http://home.arcor.de/dierk_walter/NWC/2nd_Dragoons.htm"] ![]() Maj. Again I ask: do the folks that help out get points for this? Might help to have some sort of incentive. Its not like the economy has hit Admin points hard ... A newsletter is a good idea for the club. It does require someone to co-ordinate, review, browse, prod and entice people to provide input. It might seem easy but you need the interest, commitment and some skill. Our last newsletter were amazing a product of many hours of work. A simpler format would be welcome just to keep people aware of what's going on in the club, armies etc.. I can help but cannot be lead. General de Brigade Pierre D. Thanks John. I feel that anyone that puts that much work into something should be getting some Admin points for it. The number of points is up to the Army CinC... Members of the AdR who contribute or activley help support/maiantain will get 10 points. Before we venture down this road, lets make sure we have staff in place to work on this and keep it going.

Monsieur le Marechal Baron John Corbin Commanding L'Armee du Rhin Grande Duc de Piave et Comte de Beauvais Commanding the Division de Cavalerie de la Moyenne Garde NWC President
|

I can't speak for all the Allied Armies (they each have their own rules and approaches) but I can certainly say that would qualify for the 10pts that John mentions in the Austrian Army Feldmarschall Freiherr Gary McClellan Generalissimus Imperial Austrian Army Portner Grenadier Bn Allied Coalition C-in-C |
