Post subject:  A toast to Muddy and Ed .. MP Battle .

I would like to toast a glass or two .
for Sir Muddy and Ed Blackburn .

Myself and Maréchal Peterson have just finished our MP mirror battles with these 2 fine officers. at Quatre Bras and Ligny . A hard battle but a great turn around ...

With myself and Maréchal Peterson getting a Victory in both games. but each turn could have changed the outcome

The good news is i got one of my Batons back after this that Muddy took from me some years ago. though he still holds one of them , i now have one of his nice new German Swords..

The bad news is. after this battle i am sure Muddys Horse the drunk what it was . was found on a hill next to a barrel of Ale . we are not to sure if it got hit in battle or the drink just took its toll ,

He may say that is was not his horse .. but from what i remeber in battle he was seen on it at one point ..

As the saying gos. dont drink and ride . that also gos for the horse.

Great Battles guys.. Thanks.. The drinks are on me . well Maréchal Peterson .. [;)]

Well, yes it's true. Gen Blackburn and I were humbled on the fields of Belgium by this French duo -- part of the Guard's challenge. While the fighting was hard, the outcomes were never seriously in doubt after the half way point. [B)]

So, I'll drink to the Frenchies this time. And if you do see my horse, would you please direct him to the Tavern. I'll need a ride home after toasting our opponents and drowning my sorrows.
