THE POLL IS CLOSED: The winners were: First: 1807 - Polish Campaign Second: 1813 (first and second place votes were totaled) Third: Peninsular Campaign ---text of poll---- Ok - there are still quite a few campaigns that we can do. Which ones most interest you? Here are several that have yet to be done: 1794 - Rev War campaign in Europe 1796-97 - campaign in Europe and Bonaparte in Italy 1798-99 Egypt/Europe 1800 - Germany/Italy 1807 - Polish Campaign 1808-09 Russo-Swedish War (this probably would not be a stand-alone game) 1808-1814 Peninsular Campaigns 1813 Leipzig Campaign 1814 French Campaign (and 1813-14 Italian Campaign) and for the obscure Russo-Turkish Campaigns (and toss in the Austrians if you like vs. the Turks) British vs. Spanish, French and Dutch (Empire Battles) - this would be anything from the French in Haiti to the British taking Cape Town Colony to the unsuccessful bid for Britian to take Buenos Aires and also the Wars of South American Liberation - this one might be better covered under the EAW series OR we could use the company/squadron scale as seen in Wagram and Waterloo. French Liberation of Ireland Napoleon in Louisiana (abdicates and sets up his empire in New Orleans working with Lafitte and company) Wellington in India 1815 - the War That Might Have Been - if Napoleon had not sailed over from Elba things might have reached the powder keg stage in Europe. Would see Austria vs. Russia with Prussia and England choosing sides as diplomacy dictates. See the vaunted battle worthy cossacks face off against the Kaiser Cuirassiers![:D] Colonel Bill Peters, 17th Dragoons, III Corps, French Army HPS Napoleonic Scenario Designer (Eckmuhl, Wagram, Jena-Auerstaedt, Austerlitz and ... more to come) Swiss-Swedish Army CinC, Musket and Cannon Game Club - Come over and see what we are all about! ![]() |

(1) 1808-1814 Peninsular Campaigns (2) 1813 Leipzig Campaign (3) 1796-97 - campaign in Europe and Bonaparte in Italy (4) 1800 - Germany/Italy (5) 1814 French Campaign (and 1813-14 Italian Campaign) (6) 1807 - Polish Campaign (7) 1794 - Rev War campaign in Europe (8)1798-99 Egypt/Europe Wellington in India (and all the other Brits in india up until the brits start using rifles) would be interesting. The Peninsula, 1814, 1800 and 1797-97 are the size battles I have time for these days so that give them more weight in my opinion... But I guess we will Feldmarschall Jim 'Prinz' Pfluecke Commander, Austrian Cavalry Reserve 3 Graf O'Reilly Chevauxleger Rgt Hahn Grenadier Bn |

Hi Bill...our own bucket list [:)] !! 1808-1814 Penninsular Campaign 1813 Leipzig Campaign 1807 Polish Campaign 1814 French Campaign (and 1813-14 Italian Campaign) I'd buy all those but the others...mmmmm not so much. However - One thing if you do the Penninsular war you must improve the British moral some way, as was done with the Russians for NRC..which I personally think the golden moral is a bit too powerful and should be offset by a reduction in russian firepower effect (muskets!) and an increase in french artillery effect (quality over russian quantity!). See my comments in the moral post Im about to do. Thanks for all your great work [:)] Col Mike Ellwood Commander Officer 3rd Dragoon Division Reserve Cavalry |

In priority order: 1813 Leipzig Campaign 1807 - Polish Campaign 1796-97 - campaign in Europe and Bonaparte in Italy Personally I think Leipzig 1813 will be the most interesting with best variety in terms of units, nations involved, battles size. After all this epic campaign was the decisive one which broke the back of the Empire. Peninsular Campaigns might be not that interesting as Napoleon, and best French army units were absent. My vote is for the 1807 Polish Campaign. This campaign offers many challenges, especially weather and supply as well as a number of interesting actions in small, medium and large battles. There are also many strategic challenges fot both sides. Bill Shtabs-Kapitan Bill Cann New Russian Dragoon Regt 13th Brigade,IV Cav.Corps 2nd Russian Army ![]() |

Bill, I am definately feel that a Eylau-Friedland game would be real cool. Bad roads, lousy weather and fairly even forces. Should make a good challenging game especially if we can have large map scenarios. Lt. Col. Thomas Moore 26eme Chasseurs a'Cheval 1ere Brigade, d'Cavalerie Legere, IV Corp, L'Grande Armee |
