Post subject: Attention Tournament Oragnizers

I have been fielding questions in regards to Registering Touranment Games in the new NWC DoR. Thought I would put everyone in the know.

The way things are now, only those members who are moderators ( Army Commanders, thier Chief's of Staff and myself ) can register tournament games.

What this means to those who are going to run touranments:

1 - If you are planing on using custom scenarios

A complete list of scenaios will be required so that I can set them up in the DoR. Info I need is:

- Sceanario name
- Number of Turns
- Game Title being used

I will input the sceanrios in such a way as to make it very easy to find and obvious that it is part of whatever touranament.

Ex: Lets use Master of Europe V

Scenario Name - Wellington Surrenders
Scenario Length - 45 Turns
Game Title - HPS Waterloo

I will put it in the DoR as: MOEV-Wellington Surrenders

I can enter a set of Sceanrios one round at a time or all at once at the tournament organizers request.

2 - If you are using stock scenarios

Nothning for you to do.

John I would have thought a simple generic tournament name would suffice as a misc category. For example all of Muddy's scenarios in MOE4 are one offs that probably don't see the light of day again. And would therefore clutter the system.

Unless of course they are added as downloads somewhere for general club play. Probably a good idea as some of them are excellent. (and very hard)
